About MeBy day, I work in higher education at an access institution, providing oversight for students who have developmental English and/or math requirements. When I don't have my educator hat on, I take walks, do Pilates, solve word puzzles, binge on Acorn TV, read (incessantly), write, and nuzzle with my calico cat, Magnolia. I have three amazing daughters, all grown and flourishing as they create meaningful lives and communities. My first novel was Reawakening Rebekah: The Gift of the CLAMOR Girls, and I wrote the stage play version of it as a result of a creative collaboration with the Theatre Department of Columbus State University (GA). There is nothing quite like seeing your words enacted on the stage. I am currently shopping out my second novel, titled A Rose in Little Five Points, as well as a children's story about the unlikely friendship between a butterfly and a dragonfly.
